The Half Marathon route follows long sections of Pine Mountain trail with rock outcroppings, hardwood and longleaf pine stands, springs, creek crossings, and rocky, root-filled singletrack. Entry fees are listed as $70 for the 10K and $85 for the Half Marathon with price increases after November 21. Registration closes December 9 at 11:59 PM ET and there is no race-day registration. A $10 parking fee per vehicle is required by Georgia State Parks; parking is limited and self-pay boxes and annual passes are available at park headquarters.
A portion of proceeds benefits the park, the Pine Mountain Trail Association, and the Humane Society of Harris County. Food donations for the humane society are being collected at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
