Holiday Hootie Hoo - December 13, 2026
The Holiday Hootie Hoo is a trail running event held at F.D.R. State Park in Pine Mountain, Georgia, organized by the Southern Singletrack Trail Series. The event offers two race distances and finishes with a hooded race shirt and a finisher award for participants.
The courses travel along singletrack through hardwood and longleaf pine forests, and include rock outcroppings, rock formations, springs, creek crossings, and rocky, root-filled sections covered in leaves. The Half Marathon route includes multiple trail features and has 2.5 aid stations; the 10K follows Mountain Creek Nature Trail Loop and part of the Longleaf Loop and has one aid station.

- No race-day registration; registration closes December 9 at 11:59 PM ET.
- Entry fees: $70 for the 10K and $85 for the Half Marathon; prices rise after November 21.
- No transfers, refunds, or deferments. Hoodie size is not guaranteed for registrations after November 25.
- A $10.00 parking fee per vehicle is required at Georgia State Parks and is not included with registration. Self-pay boxes and annual pass purchases are available at park headquarters. Parking is limited.
A portion of proceeds from this final race in the Southern Singletrack Trail Series will benefit the park, the Pine Mountain Trail Association, and the Humane Society of Harris County.
