The West End St. Patrick’s 5K takes place on March 22, 2026, in Allentown. This is the 16th running of the event.
Course and Atmosphere
The course is a closed, flat route that takes place in advance of the annual Allentown St. Patrick's Parade, often with spectators. A new feature for 2026 is a hydration station option offering Guinness Draught or Guinness 0.0, with awards for the top three male and female participants who choose this option. Participants must be 21 years old for this.
Amenities and Logistics
Amenities include bib pickup on Friday, Saturday, and race day, indoor toilets at the start line, personalized bibs for those registered by February 22, and digital clocks at the first and second miles. There is a post-race indoor lunch with cookies. Awards are given in five-year age groups, and there are prizes for the best outfits. Race shirts, socks, and glassware are available for separate purchase. The race caps at 1,000 participants and registration closes on March 15.
