Wensley's Cycles Winter Series 2026
The Southland Triathlon and Multisport Club runs a winter duathlon and multisport series at Teretonga Park across four dates in 2026: Sunday 21 June, Sunday 26 July, Sunday 16 August, and Sunday 20 September. Events include duathlon distances, a multisport option with kayaking, and standalone runs for juniors and an open 5 km.
Distances and formats include:
- Long: 2.5 km run, 15 km cycle, 2.5 km run
- Mid: 1.5 km run, 10 km cycle, 1.5 km run
- Short: 1 km run, 5 km cycle, 1 km run
- Multisport: 2 km kayak, 15 km cycle, 2.5 km run
- Juniors Run: 2.5 km run
- Open Run: 5 km run
Entry options cover the full series or individual races. Full series prices listed for 2026 are: adult club member $40, adult non-club member $60, and school age child $20. Individual race fees are listed as adult club member $10, adult non-club member $15, and student $5. Payment on the day is cash or paywave only.
Racing is non-drafting for all athletes. There will be a prizegiving at the end of the final event with spot prizes provided by Wensley's Cycles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
