Wensley's Cycles Winter Series 2026

Wensley's Cycles Winter Series is a duathlon and multisport series held at Teretonga Park across four Sunday events in 2026. The series offers multiple race formats and distances so participants can enter the full series or individual races.

Distances and formats include:

Long distance: 2.5km run - 15km cycle - 2.5km run
Mid distance: 1.5km run - 10km cycle - 1.5km run
Short distance: 1km run - 5km cycle - 1km run
Multisport: 2km kayak - 15km cycle - 2.5km run
Juniors Run: 2.5km run
Open Run: 5km run

The event accepts road bikes or mountain bikes. The races are non-drafting for all athletes. Series entrants receive a personalised race bib and a race belt. Prices for the full series and single races are set by participant category, including lower rates for school-age children and students, and different fees for club members and non-members. Cash or paywave only is accepted on the day. A prizegiving will take place at the end of the last event, with spot prizes provided by Wensley's Cycles.
