Mr. C's Wenona 5K Run
Mr. C's Wenona 5K Run takes place on August 7, 2026, at Wenona City Park Pavilion, 213 S. Spruce St., Wenona, IL. The event is organized as part of Wenona Days and features a 3.1 Miles running event.
Registration opens December 17, 2025. Early registration is priced at $30.00 through July 24, 2026 and guarantees the registrant's choice of event apparel while supplies last. Registration is $35.00 beginning July 25, 2026 and continues through race day; same-day registration is included in this period.
Event recognition for finishers includes an exclusive 2026 Mr. C's Wenona 5K Finisher Medal for the first 200 finishers. Organizers will not hold a traditional awards ceremony. Instead, age group awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are available as placement stickers that participants may collect at the timing table after the race to attach to their finisher medal.
Each registered participant may choose one piece of race apparel. Options include a T-shirt available in Youth Medium to Youth Large and Adult Small to Adult XXXL, or a tank top available in Adult Small to Adult XXL. Tank tops are offered in adult sizes only.
