Streator Run For Glory
The Streator Run For Glory is a community 5K held at City Park in Streator, Illinois, with a start location at the northeast corner of the park at the intersection of Kent Street and Vermillion Street. The course is an out and back route that runs through quiet residential neighborhoods. Walkers may participate alongside runners. The event is presented as part of the Starved Rock Runners Ltd and Prairie State Road Runner Circuit for 2026.
Chip timing and finish-line services are provided by Racing Expectations. A free kids fun run accompanies the main event and awards participation medals. Water is available on course at the one-mile and two-mile marks. Post-race refreshments include fruit and water. T-shirts or tank tops are guaranteed only to participants registered by June 17, 2026. Festive swag bags are offered to the first 100 registered participants, and a free drink is available at Legacy Sports Bar and Grill after the event.
Awards are given to the top three finishers in multiple age divisions, starting at 9 and under and extending to 80 and over. Additional awards include the first Streator male and female finisher and the first overall male and female finisher. Registration fees vary by date, ranging from $20 to $35.
