Event Information
The Folty 5k is a running and walking event held on Friday, August 28, 2026, in Tonica, Illinois. The start and finish line is at Village Hall, located at 308 Uncas St.
Registration and Fees
Standard registration costs $25 until August 14, 2026. A family special for $75 is available for four or more participants from the same household, but only until August 14. Late and race-day registration costs $30, but a race t-shirt is not guaranteed. The policy states there are no refunds and no transfers.
Packet Pickup and Course
Participants can pick up their race packets between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM at Village Hall. The course is a USA Track & Field certified, chip-timed, 5k out-and-back route. Restrooms and refreshments are available after the event.
Awards and Features
Awards are given for overall male and female winners, as well as top male and female Tonica residents, all receiving plaques. The top three male and female finishers in each age division receive medals, with divisions spanning from 9 & under to 75+.
Special features include a drink voucher for registered participants aged 21 and over, event challenges with a chance to win a cash prize, and a free kids' fun run at 6:45 PM for children 10 and under, where all participants receive medals.
