Welsh 3000's Ultra Run
The event is a guided mountain run over the 15 Welsh 3,000 ft peaks in Snowdonia, covering the Carneddau, the Glyderau and the Snowdon range and including the traverse of Crib Goch. The route totals approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of ascent.
The run is led by experienced trail runners with British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. The format is guided rather than competitive; it is not a race. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included. Organisers provide premium food stations offering hot and cold options along the route.
Organisers describe the event as a demanding challenge and indicate it is intended for runners who have previously completed marathon distance. Minimum age for entry is 18 years. The published booking fee is £170. Bookings open 4 July 2025 and close 4 September 2026.
