Welsh 3000's Ultra Run
The Welsh 3000s Ultra Run is a guided mountain run across the 15 Welsh peaks that exceed 3,000 ft, held in Snowdonia in North Wales. The route crosses the Snowdon, Carneddau and Glyderau ranges and includes the traverse of Crib Goch. The course covers approximately 30 miles (50 km) with around 4,000 m of accumulated ascent.
The event is delivered by experienced trail runners who hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. Organisers provide transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle as part of the entry fee. Premium food stations supply a selection of hot and cold options during the day.
This activity is not organised as a race; it is run as a guided mountain outing. The organisers describe the route as a demanding challenge and recommend participants have prior experience of marathon distance running. Minimum age for participation is 18 or older. The published entry fee for the event is £170 and bookings are open for a defined period prior to the event date.
Event administration includes standard terms and a cancellation and refund policy. The run takes place in mountain terrain and requires participants to manage personal equipment and fitness for the conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
