Event overview
The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run is a guided mountain run in Snowdonia, North Wales, held on Saturday 12 September 2026. The route visits the 15 Welsh peaks over 3,000 ft and crosses the Snowdon, Carneddau and Glyderau ranges, and includes the traverse of Crib Goch. The course covers approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of total ascent. The organiser describes the activity as not a race.
Logistics and entry
The event is guided by experienced trail runners who hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included. Food stations provide a selection of hot and cold items. The organiser states participants should have previously completed marathon distance. Minimum age is 18 on the event date.
