Event overview
The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run takes place on 12 September 2026 in Snowdonia, North Wales. The route covers the classic set of 15 Welsh 3,000 ft peaks, running across the Carneddau, the Glyderau and the Snowdon range and including the Crib Goch traverse. The course distance is approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of total ascent. The event is described as a guided mountain run rather than a race.
Logistics and entry
The event is organised by Adventure Awaits. Participants must be at least 18 years old on the event date. Bookings open 4 July 2025 and close 4 September 2026. The published booking fee is £170. The run is led by trail leaders who hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included.
