Event overview
The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run is scheduled for Saturday 27 June 2026 in Snowdonia, North Wales. The event is a guided mountain run over the classic Welsh 3,000 ft peaks. It covers the Carneddau, the Glyderau and the Snowdon range and includes the traverse of Crib Goch. The route crosses 15 mountains over 3,000 ft, with a distance of approximately 30 miles (50 km) and about 4,000 m of total ascent. The minimum age for participants is 18 on the event date.
Course and logistics
The run is led by trail runners with mountain leadership and athletics qualifications and is organised as a guided experience rather than a race. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included. Food stations offer a selection of hot and cold items. Bookings open 4 July 2025 and close 19 June 2026; the booking fee is £170.
