13th Annual Wells Veterans Day 5K

The Wells Veterans Day 5K is an annual running and walking event hosted by the Wells Chamber of Commerce. The race follows a 5K loop that begins and ends at the Trailblazers Family Club, located at 102 Bills Lane in Wells, Maine. The course route utilizes remote back roads and is characterized by its flat terrain.

Participants have the option to complete the distance as a runner or a walker. Onsite parking is provided at the club facilities for those attending. Due to the event taking place during the later part of the fall season in Maine, participants are encouraged to wear warmer apparel. Following the completion of the race, snacks and refreshments are made available to attendees.

Financial proceeds from the event are directed to Honor Flight Maine. Registrations are open to various age groups, including adults, students, and children. The first 100 paying registrants are provided with a long-sleeve t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
