6th Annual Trail Fest

The ACT Trail Fest is organized by the Arundel Conservation Trust and takes place in Arundel, Maine. This annual event is held in partnership with the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust. Participants can choose to run or walk across three different course distances, all of which utilize the ACT Multi-Purpose Trail and the Eastern Trails.

The available distances include:

  • 5 km walk or run
  • 10 km walk or run
  • Half marathon

The courses lead through woodland areas and offer views of local streams. The event starts and finishes at the Arundel Municipal Building parking lot located at 257 Limerick Road. The routes consist of maintained trail surfaces through the surrounding natural landscape.

Registered participants in the walking and running events receive a medal and a t-shirt. The festival atmosphere includes a live band and food for attendees. In addition to the trail running and walking events, there is a bike race specifically for children. Advance registration is available online until the day before the event, with options for in-person registration also provided on the morning of the races.
