Event
The Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon takes place in Wellfleet, Massachusetts on June 6, 2026. The event benefits community radio (WOMR and WFMR) and Wellfleet Montessori Pre-School. Course and race information
The race uses Long Pond as the swim location and Long Pond Road for race activities. Course details include:
- 1/4 mile swim in a kettle pond
- 10 mile bike (two 5-mile loops)
- 3 mile run out-and-back near the Beachcomber Restaurant with ocean views
The bike and run follow paved roads through a natural pine forest and will be closed to vehicular traffic. Transition and start/finish are at Long Pond. Parking is indicated at the First Congregational Church. Non-USAT members must purchase a one-day event insurance license; listed costs are $14 for a sprint and $9 per relay team member.
