Cape Cod against the Tide

Event overview

The 27th Annual Cape Cod Against the Tide is a family-friendly, multi-sport fundraising event to benefit the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC). The event takes place at Cliff Pond, Nickerson State Park, Brewster, Massachusetts. Funds raised support MBCC community education programs, the MBCC Webinar Series, and the student environmental health program "Let’s Talk Prevention: Actions You Can Take." Refunds are not allowed. The participation of minors under 18 requires authorization by a parent or guardian and a signed Release and Indemnity Agreement.

Events offered include:

• 1-mile USMS-sanctioned swim
• 1-mile competitive swim
• 1-mile recreational swim
• 1/2-mile recreational swim
• 5K USATF-certified run
• 10K USATF-certified run
• 3-mile fitness walk

Registration fees are listed as $40.00 per event, inclusive of mandatory charges. Bibs are picked up at on-site registration the morning of the event. Wetsuits are permitted. No dogs or other pets are allowed on the beach, except service animals. Participants can create or join a team during registration; new teams cannot be created after registration is complete.
