Dennis Port 5K / 10K
The 4th Annual Dennis Port 5K and 10K takes place on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, 2027, in Dennis Port, Massachusetts. Both races start and finish at Dennis Port Village Green.

The course runs along the coastline on Old Wharf Road and is described as flat. The 5K follows the same route as the 10K for the first 1.2 miles until the intersection of Lower County Road and Shad Hole Road, where the 5K turns south onto Shad Hole Road and returns to Old Wharf Road to head back to the finish.
This is a chip-timed event. The timing chip is on the back of the race bib and should be worn on the chest. Overall awards are based on gun time; age group awards are based on chip time. Trophies and prizes are given to the top three overall men and women and to age group champions. Age groups are 13 & under, 14–18, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+.
Number pickup is available at Dennis Port Village Green on race day. There is no bag check. Strollers, dogs, and walkers are welcome but should line up toward the back and maintain a safe distance. A post-race party will follow with music, snacks, and beer from Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co. Free parking is available in the municipal lot next to the start/finish between Route 28 and Hall Street.
Organizers seek volunteers for registration, course marshals, water stations, start/finish crew, and cleanup. In the event of inclement weather the event may be postponed; no refunds will be issued for postponement or cancellation. Bib transfers are permitted until 10 days before the race; unauthorized transfers may result in bans. All proceeds go to charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
