Dennis Port 5K / 10K

The Dennis Port 5K and 10K take place on Memorial Day, May 25, 2026, in Dennis Port, MA at the Dennis Port Village Green on Hall Street. The event is organized by RACE Cancer Foundation and offers both road race distances.

Entry fees vary by registration date: $25 through August 31, 2025; $30 from September 1 to December 31, 2025; $32 from January 1 to February 28, 2026; $34 from March 1 to April 30, 2026; $36 from May 1 to May 15, 2026; $40 from May 16 to May 24, 2026; and $45 on race day.

This is a chip timed event. The timing chip is on the back of the race bib and should be worn on the chest without folding. Overall awards use gun time; age group awards use chip time. Trophies and prizes are provided for the top three overall women and men and for age group champions. Age groups include 13 and under, 14–18, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80-plus for both women and men.

The 5K and 10K share the same start and finish lines. The 5K follows the 10K route for the first 1.2 miles, then turns at Lower County Road and Shad Hole Road before rejoining the 10K route back to the finish.

Strollers, dogs and walkers are permitted if they line up at the back and keep a safe distance; walkers may be directed to the sidewalk by police or course marshals. There will be no bag-check at the event. Free parking is available in the municipal lot near the start and finish between Route 28 and Hall Street.

Volunteers receive a shirt and instructions before their shift and assist with tasks such as registration, course marshaling, water stations and start/finish operations. The event may be postponed for inclement weather and organizers do not issue refunds for postponement or cancellation. Bib transfers are allowed via the official transfer form until ten days before the race; transferring a bib outside that process can lead to a ban from future events.
