Wellesley Turkey Trot : overview
The Wellesley Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Wellesley, MA (181 Linden Street). Bank of America is the presenting sponsor. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- Kids Fun Run - up to 1 mile, for children 10 and under
The 5K entry fee is $35; the Kids Fun Run fee is $20. 5K price increases after October 31, 2025. Kids Fun Run registration ends November 24, 2025 and is limited to 300 participants; the listing shows 182 spots remaining. The race organization accepts additional tax-deductible donations for charity partners during registration.
Course, awards and logistics
The 5K is a USATF certified course with the start and finish at Linden Square on Linden Street. The course follows Linden Street to Crest Road, then Central Street, Weston Road, Washington Street, College Road into the Wellesley College area, returns via Route 135 (Central Street) passing the Boston Marathon Scream Tunnel, then back to Linden Street for the finish.
Prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in these age groups: Under 10, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Team awards include largest team, largest school team, fastest team, fastest family team, and fastest WHS student/alumni teams. Marathon Sports Wellesley handles race number pick-up with a 15% shopping discount during pick-up hours. There is parking on Linden Street. Parents may accompany very young children in the Kids Fun Run without registering. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
