US Road Running - Venice
The Holiday 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is held at Shamrock Park in Venice, Florida. The event takes place on a course consisting of mixed concrete and asphalt surfaces. Participants start on the path located behind the Nature Center, which also houses the available restroom facilities for the event.
The race utilizes out-and-back routes for all distances. The 5K and 10K courses involve a 1.56-mile segment, while the Half Marathon uses a 1.64-mile segment. All participants are subject to a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Distances available for this event include:
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K: Two repetitions of the out-and-back loop.
- Half Marathon: Four repetitions of the out-and-back loop totaling 13.1 miles.
Registration must be completed online in advance, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the race. Packet pickup is conducted at the location shortly before the event begins. All finishers receive a medal upon completion of their distance. Participants are also eligible for series points and a best costume award.
