Holiday 5K, 10K and Half Marathon at Shamrock Park, Venice FL
This event offers three measured road race distances on courses that run through and behind the Nature Center at Shamrock Park, 3900 Shamrock Dr, Venice FL 34293. The route surfaces are a mix of concrete and asphalt. Bathrooms are available in the Nature Center, and the start is located on the path behind the Nature Center.
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. All participants must register online on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Distances:
- 5K - out and back course, one loop
- 10K - out and back course, two loops
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) - out and back course, four loops
The 5K and 10K use a shorter out and back segment repeated as noted. The half marathon uses a longer out and back segment repeated four times to reach the advertised distance.
