WEBF Strides for Education 5k and Kids Fun Run
The WEBF Strides for Education 5K and Kids Fun Run is an annual community event held in Waltham, Massachusetts. The race takes place on historic Moody Street and follows a route that includes the DCR Riverwalk. The event serves as a family-oriented activity organized by Waltham Education and Beyond, Inc. (WEBF).
The event features two main distances:
- 5 km Road Race
- 1 km Kids Fun Run
The 1 km Kids Fun Run is designed for participants between the ages of 5 and 8. Registered children in this category receive a complimentary kiddie ice cream from a local sponsor. The 5 km event is open to runners and walkers.
Participants can pick up their race bibs the day before the event at Shopper's Cafe. On the day of the race, bib pickup is available at the Embassy parking lot for the 5 km participants and at the Shopper's Cafe parking lot for those in the Kids Fun Run.
