We Out Here Trail Festival

We Out Here Trail Festival is a trail running event at St. Edwards State Park, on the traditional homelands of the Coast Salish People. The event is designed with first-time trail runners in mind; in 2026, 62% of participants identified as first-time trail runners. Organizers describe a vision of inclusive trail access and a supportive community, and they extend a specific invitation to individuals from underrepresented communities.

Races take place on a looped course within the park, which allows for spectator support and repeated laps. All race participants receive a medal at the finish and access to nonalcoholic drinks and snacks in the festival area. The festival area also includes free face painting, children's activities, and additional family-friendly offerings.

Sustainable event practices include eliminating disposable cups by joining a reusable cup program; participants will receive a reusable HydraPak SpeedCup for use on and off course. Parking at the park is limited and requires a Discovery Pass; annual and daily passes are available for purchase onsite. St. Edwards Park is located about 15 miles from Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood and about 4.5 miles from Bothell; the Bothell area is noted as an easy access point for accommodations.
