We Need to Talk About Chevin

We Need to Talk About Chevin is a challenging fell race held in Otley, starting and finishing on Station Road with race headquarters at The Black Horse pub. Covering 14km (9 miles) with 650m (2130ft) of elevation, the course features tough climbs including the infamous Chevin Steps, Surprise View, Danefield climb, and a loop through Poolscar Wood and Fells Plantation. The terrain includes dirt, rocky ground, grass, and footpaths, demanding good navigation skills as the course is only partially marked.

The event offers a tough but scenic experience with post-race refreshments at The Black Horse, including a complimentary pint for finishers. A shorter 9km race, Chevin is BS, is also available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
