We Need To Talk About Chevin is a Category BM fell race held in Otley, West Yorkshire on 21 March 2026. The course is 14 kilometres with about 650 metres of ascent and is run as a single lap. The race has an entry limit of 200 and a minimum age of 18. Entry fees are listed between £12 and £19; entry on the day may be available if the event has not sold out. The event has a permit and associated insurance.

Course and facilities

The race starts and finishes on Station Road with registration and post-race refreshments provided at The Black Horse. The route leaves Station Road with an immediate climb to Surprise View, then descends to The West Gate before ascending to the Danefield climb. The course continues through a loop of Poolscar Wood, reaches the Far Eastern point at The Fells Plantation where runners climb alongside power lines, returns to Chevin Forest Park, then climbs Miller Lane and descends Jonny Lane back to Station Road. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs and is described as hilly.

Facilities at race headquarters (Station Top Car Park, opposite Otley Auction Market) include a baggage store.
