Event overview
The Haworth Hobble is an off-road ultra organised by Keighley & Craven AC. The 2026 edition is the 45th running and is a point-to-point traverse of gritstone moors around Haworth, Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. The course distance is 51 km / 31.7 miles with approximately 1,340 m (4,396 ft) of ascent. The venue is Haworth Primary School, Rawdon Road, Haworth (grid ref SE 03143 37265). The event is categorised BL and GPS devices are not allowed for navigation. Minimum entry age is 18. Skills and experience codes given are ER, LK, NS.
Course, kit and facilities
The route runs largely on trails and moorland with remote, exposed sections. Full FRA mandatory kit is required. In addition competitors must carry a foil blanket or bivvy bag, a minimum 0.5 litre water carrying capacity and an additional long-sleeved thermal base layer that is not to be worn at the race start. Trackers are issued to competitors. There are six manned feed stations providing drinks and food; some stations offer hot items including soup, hot dogs, chip butties and filled donuts. Hot food and drinks are provided at the finish.

Entries open on SI Entries and places are limited; the entry fee for 2026 is £28 (different age/discount categories noted on the entry page). There are no refunds; deferrals and substitution options are published with specific deadlines. Recces and guided runs are organised in the winter for route familiarisation.
