Event details

The 45th Haworth Hobble takes place on Saturday 14 March 2026 and is organised by Keighley & Craven AC. The event is run from Haworth Primary School, Rawdon Road, Haworth, BD22 8DW (grid ref SE 03143 37265). Entry opened on 1 October 2025 and entries later sold out; the 2026 event is full and the waiting list is closed. The race is category BL and the minimum age is 18. GPS is not allowed for navigation.

Course and logistics

The route is a point-to-point traverse of gritstone moors around Haworth, Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. Distance is 51 km / 31.7 miles with approximately 1340 m / 4396 ft of climb. The course is remote and may be affected by winter conditions; in exceptional circumstances the organisers may reduce the course to a 21 mile bad-weather route.

Full FRA mandatory kit must be carried, plus a foil blanket or bivvy bag, an additional long-sleeved thermal base layer (not to be worn at the start) and a minimum 0.5 litre water carrying capacity. All competitors are issued with trackers. There are six feed stations on course and hot food and drinks at the finish. Cut offs are applied so the event finishes by 18:00.
