Course and event details

A portion of the event proceeds will be contributed to the Wayne A. Burlison Memorial Scholarship, established in 2014 by Wayne’s wife and son. The 3.17 mile course leads into Mt. Albion Cemetery and features rolling terrain and scenic areas. Mt. Albion Cemetery was established in the 1840s on a glacial drumlin and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. The event offers a walk option on the same 3.17 mile course. Organizers provide an amply supplied water station along the route, volunteers to support participants, and a medal for all finishers.
