Event Overview
The Shoreline Half Marathon & 5K takes place at Hamlin Beach State Park in New York. The event features beachside running routes with both live and virtual participation options. The half marathon follows a flat course through the Hamlin countryside, starting inside the park and finishing along the beach path. The 5K remains entirely within the park, offering views of Lake Ontario from the lakeside path.

Participant Information
In-person participants receive a technical tank top (guaranteed for those registered by June 21st), a finisher medal, a race bib, and a printable finisher certificate. Electronic timing is used for the event, and a post-race burrito breakfast is provided to participants. For the half marathon, a 3.5-hour time limit is enforced, requiring all runners to complete the course by 10:30 AM. Complimentary pace leaders are available for those targeting specific finish times in the half marathon.
Location and Logistics
The event is based at Hamlin Beach State Park, specifically utilizing Areas 4 and 5 for parking and race activities. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day prior to the race at a local running store in Rochester, with a limited pickup window available on race morning. There is no registration available on the day of the event.
Awards and Recognition
Cash prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the half marathon. In both distances, awards are provided to the top three finishers in five-year age groups. Results are posted online, and participants can download a finisher certificate.
