Shoreline Half Marathon & 5K : Hamlin Beach State Park
The Shoreline event on July 18, 2026 includes two race distances held at Hamlin Beach State Park in Hamlin, NY. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation with participant items and electronic timing for in-person runners.

The Half Marathon follows a flat countryside route that leaves the park to complete two loops of the Moscow/Redmond/Jacobs/Priem circuit before returning to finish along the beach path at Lake Ontario. The 5K is a flat course run entirely within the park and finishes along the beach path; the 5K start and finish are in Area 5. There is a 3.5 hour cutoff for the Half Marathon; all participants must finish by the stated cutoff.
In-person entrants receive a finisher medal, technical tank top (gender-specific sizing, shirt guaranteed for registrations by June 21), race bib, printable finisher certificate, online results, post race burrito breakfast, and electronic timing. Virtual entrants receive a finisher medal, technical tank top (same sizing note), a downloadable race bib, and a printable finisher certificate. Virtual results may be submitted between July 18 and July 26, 2026.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Fleet Feet at the Armory in Rochester. Parking is available in Areas 4 and 5 at the park. Awards include cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers in the Half Marathon and age-group awards for both races; awards are not mailed. All entries are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-deferrable, and in-person race insurance is available for purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
