Event
Holiday 5K & 10K at Merritt Island takes place at Kelly Park West in Merritt Island, FL (2455 N Banana River Dr, Merritt Island, FL 32952). The event includes two race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. The event has a 2-hour course time limit. Finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards are listed as part of the event program.
Course and logistics
The start area is located by the tennis courts. Bathrooms are in the pavilion by the starting line. The course surface is asphalt. The basic course segment is 0.78 miles one way, making a 1.56-mile out-and-back. The 5K is two repetitions of the 1.56-mile out-and-back. The 10K is four repetitions of the 1.56-mile out-and-back.
