Wausaultra Single, Double, Limitless

WausaUltra Solo, Double, Limitless - Wausau, WI (May 7–9, 2027)

WausaUltra takes place at Sylvan Park in Wausau, Wisconsin and offers multiple race formats on a common loop course. The primary loop measures 4.167 miles and is described as mostly trail with varied terrain, frequent climbs, single-track sections, creek crossings, and short bridge crossings. A central start/finish area serves as a home base with space for participant tents, aid, bathroom facilities, and parking; racers return to this area every loop.

Distances and formats:

• Limitless: repeated 4.167 mile loops until only one runner remains
• Solo: complete 4.167 mile one-loop option
• Double: complete 8.334 miles two-loop option
• Kids' race: expected distance a little less than half a mile

Entry details note registration opens January 2, 2027 and registration closes May 5, 2027; there are no race day sign-ups. Age rules require racers to be 18 years or older on race day or under 18 with a parent or guardian present. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $200 for Limitless, $55 for one loop, $65 for two loops, and free for the kids' race. Registrations are final with no deferrals or refunds, though transfers to another individual or switching from Limitless to Solo or Double may be possible under the organizer's transfer policy.
