Wausaultra Single, Double, Limitless

WausaUltra Solo, Double, Limitless

WausaUltra takes place May 7–9, 2027 at Sylvan Park in Wausau, WI. The event uses a single 4.167 mile loop that is mostly trail and includes multiple climbs, single-track sections, creek crossings, and short stretches along school property. A start/finish home base provides space for tents, aid, bathroom facilities, and parking between loops.

There are three adult formats and a kids race:

• Limitless: repeated 4.167 mile laps until one runner remains or the event concludes; entry fee $200; entrants must be 18 or older or under 18 with a parent or guardian present.
• Solo: one 4.167 mile lap; entry fee $55; same age policy as above.
• Double: two 4.167 mile laps (total 8.334 miles); entry fee $65; same age policy as above.
• Kids race: expected distance slightly under half a mile; for children 12 and under; free.

Solo and Double entrants are given up to three hours to complete their chosen distance. Registration opens January 2, 2027 and the registration cutoff is May 5, 2027; no race-day signups. Registrations are final; deferrals and refunds are not offered. Transfers to another individual are permitted, and Limitless entries may be changed to Solo or Double without refund of the fee difference. The loop description is subject to change but will remain 4.167 miles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
