WausaUltra Solo, Double, Limitless
WausaUltra is a multi day trail event held in Sylvan Park, Wausau, WI on May 7 through May 9, 2027. Registration opens January 2, 2027 and closes May 5, 2027; there are no race day sign ups.
Distances and formats:
- Limitless: repeated 4.167 mile loops until one runner remains or the event ends
- Solo: one 4.167 mile loop
- Double: two 4.167 mile loops totaling 8.334 miles
The course is a mostly trail, hilly 4.167 mile loop that passes through woods, a tubing hill, single track sections, school property edge, a creek with small bridges, and a common start and finish area. The start and finish area serves as the home base with space for participant tents, aid, bathroom facilities, and parking. The described route is subject to change but will remain a 4.167 mile trail loop with varied elevation.
A kids race for children 12 and under is planned for May 8, 2027; the expected distance is a little under half a mile and entry for children is free.
Once registered for Solo, Double, or Limitless the registration is final. Transfers of registration to another person are possible but any payment arrangements are between the two individuals. Switching from Limitless to Solo or Double is allowed without a refund for the difference. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
