WausaUltra Solo, Double, Limitless
WausaUltra is a three-day trail event in Wausau, Wisconsin, held May 7–9, 2027 at Sylvan Park. The event uses a single loop course of 4.167 miles, mostly trail and featuring varied terrain, several climbs, single-track sections, gravel approaches, a creek and small bridges. A central start/finish area provides a place for participant tents, aid, bathroom facilities, and parking between loops.

- Limitless: repeated 4.167 mile loop
- Solo: 4.167 mile one loop
- Double: 8.334 mile two loops
- Kids race: under 1/2 mile
The Limitless format is a backyard or last-runner-standing style race in which participants run the same loop repeatedly until only one runner remains or until the event ends on May 9, 2027. Solo and Double entrants run one or two loops of the same course and have a defined time window to complete their chosen distance; times are cumulative for the chosen distance and separate loop splits are not provided for two-loop entries. The kids race is for children 12 and under and is offered free of charge.
Registration opens January 2, 2027 and closes May 5, 2027; there are no race day sign ups. Race entries are final with no deferrals or refunds, though transfers between individuals are permitted and switching from Limitless to Solo or Double is allowed without refund for the fee difference.
