Run for Their Lives - Wausau

Run for Their Lives 5K

The Run for Their Lives 5K is a running and walking event supporting the Humane Society of Marathon County. It takes place in late May in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Participants have the choice between an in-person and a virtual event.

• In-Person 5K Run/Walk: The in-person race starts at Immanuel Baptist Church in Wausau. The event uses chip timing. The registration price for this option is $25.
• Virtual 5K Run/Walk: Virtual participants can complete a 5 km distance on their own custom route, from any location. To be eligible for awards, virtual participants must upload verification of their route and time by a specified deadline before the event date. The registration price for this option is also $25.

Awards are presented to in-person participants on the day of the event. Awards for virtual participants are mailed out the following week. Participants are welcome to bring their dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
