Wausau Marathon
The 16th annual Wausau Marathon is scheduled for August 22, 2027 in Wausau, Wisconsin, with the event address listed as 1201 Stewart Ave, Wausau WI 54403. The event program includes a marathon, a half marathon, a marathon relay, and a free 5K.
The course crosses the Wisconsin River and runs through scenic parts of the region. The course is USATF certified and can be used to qualify for the Boston, Chicago, and New York marathons. The Boston Marathon qualifying cutoff falls in mid September, so this event functions as a late qualifying opportunity for the following year's race.
