Wauconda Triathlons
Wauconda Triathlons is a multi race event organized by the Wauconda Park District in Wauconda, Illinois. The event program includes adult and kids competitions with separate race formats identified as Olympic and Sprint for adults and a dedicated kids triathlon.
Course documentation is provided for participants and support crews. Available materials include course maps for the Olympic and Sprint formats, a kids race map, a transition area map, and elevation profiles for the bike and run courses. Wave assignments and swim cap colors for both adult and kids fields are defined in published wave documents. Race results for the 2026 season are recorded and publicly posted.
Volunteer and partnership opportunities are part of the event structure. The program lists volunteer signups specifically for the kids race and for adult races, and a partnership form for organizations seeking involvement. The Wauconda Triathlons also appears as a stop in a Lake County triathlon series occurring alongside other events on June 7 and July 12, with the Wauconda date in late July. A series of preparatory sessions or related registrations are shown for dates the week before the event.
General event information and separate general information documents are maintained for adult and kids races, and guidance on common race rules is referenced to the national triathlon body. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
