Waterville Valley Mountain Race
The Waterville Valley Mountain Race is scheduled for September 20, 2026, at 1 Ski Area Road, Waterville Valley, New Hampshire. It is a one lap up and down mountain race and is part of the USATF-New England Mountain Racing Circuit. The event is USATF sanctioned and is a USATF-MUT Running Youth Initiative event.
Terrain on the course includes grassy ski slopes and gravel service roads. The course provides three aid stations located at approximately 2.7 miles, 4.3 miles, and 5.2 miles. Hiking poles are prohibited at this USATF sanctioned event. Transfers are not allowed; refunds may be issued upon request up to the start of the event.
Commercial photography and videography are prohibited unless prior permission is granted by the Race Director. The use of drones at the event is prohibited. Spectators who take photos or videos must remain off the course at all times.
A published fee schedule applies to registration: $45 for entries between January 1 and January 31, 2026; $50 for February 1 through August 31, 2026; $60 for September 1 through September 18, 2026; and $65 on the day of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
