Watermelon Dash Dallas

The Watermelon Dash Dallas takes place on August 23, 2026. This is the second edition of the event.

The event offers three types of participation:

A 5k run.
A Kids & Family Fun Run, which is a 1k walk.
A 5k Virtual option.

All events start and finish at Bachman Lake Park, located at 3500 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX. Parking at the park and surrounding lots is free.

The 5k course consists of one loop around Bachman Lake. The event is part of the Summer Dash Series, which also includes the Lemonade Dash and the Popsicle Dash.

Awards are given for the top three overall male and female finishers, the top three male and female masters finishers, and the first-place winner in each 10-year age group division. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
