18th Annual Prairie Lights Sneak-A-Peek
The event is a two-day 3 mile run, walk, and stroll at 5610 Lake Ridge Parkway in Grand Prairie, Texas, produced by the City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts and Recreation Department. The schedule spans Saturday, November 21, 2026 and Sunday, November 22, 2026, with the Saturday event run as a timed race and the Sunday event offered as an untimed walk.
Entry pricing is presented in staged registration periods; listed amounts include $34.36, $39.73, and $45.11 depending on registration timing. Team or group registration is available for parties of ten or more at $25.00 per person when all members are registered together; teams must be submitted before October 16, 2026. Transfers are permitted for a fee of $1.95 plus tax and are not allowed after November 13, 2026.
All participants registered by the deadline will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Packet pickup is scheduled at the Lake Parks Administration Offices (5610 Lake Ridge Parkway) on November 18, 19, and 20 with specified pickup times on each day. On the timed race day only, awards will be presented for 1st through 3rd place across multiple age divisions from 0-8 through 75+.
On arrival, attendees should follow gate and parking instructions; once the race begins, entry and exit to the park are restricted until the course is cleared. Participants and spectators are directed to gather near the Prairie Lights Stage or the start/finish line after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
