18th Annual Prairie Lights Sneak-A-Peek
The event is a community 3 mile run, walk, and stroll held at 5610 Lake Ridge Parkway, Grand Prairie, TX. It is hosted by the City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts and Recreation Department and includes timed and untimed options across two days in November 2026.
Registration offers early, regular, and late periods. Teams of ten or more pay a group rate of $25.00 per person when all members are registered at once; teams must register before October 16, 2026 and one team representative is asked to pick up all packets. Transfers are allowed for a fee of $1.95 plus tax and are not permitted after November 13, 2026.
All participants registered by the deadline will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Children age four and under are not required to register. Awards for first through third place are presented on the timed race day and are organized by age group, covering youth through senior categories.
Packet pickup is scheduled on three days at the Lake Parks Administration Offices, 5610 Lake Ridge Parkway: Wednesday, November 18 (8:00 am–4:00 pm); Thursday, November 19 (11:30 am–7:00 pm); and Friday, November 20 (11:30 am–7:00 pm). On arrival, participants and spectators should follow gate and parking attendant instructions; once the race begins, no entry or exit to the park is permitted until the course is cleared.
