Event Overview
The Watermelon Dash Houston is a running event scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026. It is the 7th annual edition and the third race in a three-race Summer Dash Series, which also includes the Lemonade Dash and Popsicle Dash.
Event Distances
Participants can choose from several race options:
- A 5k Run (one loop)
- A 10k Run (two loops)
- A Kids + Family Fun Run (1k walk, 0.62 miles)
- Virtual 5k and 10k options
Event Details
The event takes place at Karbach Brewing Co., located at 2032 Karbach Street in Houston, Texas. Packet pick-up is available at Sun & Ski Sports Westheimer on Thursday, August 6, and a race day packet pick-up option is available for a fee. Parking at the brewery is free.
Awards are given for the Top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers, the Top 3 Masters Overall Male and Female, and the 1st Place winner in each 10-year age group division. Awards must be claimed on race day at the awards tent or can be shipped later at the participant's expense. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
