AdventHealth July 4th Watermelon 5K - Winter Park
The AdventHealth July 4th Watermelon 5K is scheduled for July 4, 2026 in Winter Park, Florida. The event is organized as a community running event with both in-person and virtual participation options. Distances include a 5K road race and a Free Kids' Run.
The certified 3.1 mile course begins on Park Avenue South and runs through residential and downtown streets of Winter Park; the route is USATF certified. Entry fees are non-refundable; transfers to a new participant are permitted for a fee. The event benefits the Track Shack Youth Foundation. Accessibility accommodations are considered on a case by case basis; wheelchair athletes may compete with a push-rim wheelchair or handcycle with applicable award and safety rules.
