OUC Orlando Half Marathon Weekend
The OUC Orlando Half Marathon Weekend is a multi day running event in downtown Orlando centered on Lake Eola Park. The weekend includes an expo and bib pickup at The Plaza Live followed by a half marathon and a separate 5K the next day. A two day DTO 16.2 Challenge combines the half marathon and the 5K.
Distances:
- 5K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- DTO 16.2 Challenge combining both distances
The half marathon course starts and finishes on E. Central Blvd and includes nine water stations spaced at about every 1.5 miles with Gatorade available. Four entertainment locations are placed on course. Two on course tents near mile 5 and mile 10 provide an EMT and self serve supplies. A food stop is located around mile 8.5. Portable restrooms are provided at water stops and bike medics are on course.
Event amenities vary by distance and include shirts, quarter zip for half marathon finishers, and finisher medals or challenge gifts. The half marathon enforces a 3.5 hour course limit and a maximum 15 minute per mile pace; finishers within the limit receive official finish times and medals. The event offers pace groups, live post race music at a lakeside party, a virtual option, and a prize purse of $23,000 with eligibility requirements for prize payments. The event holds sustainability recognition through a Gold Level Certification from the Council for Responsible Sport. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
