Water Drop 5K Run/Walk Water Droplet Kids Run
The Water Drop event is part of Wabash Riverfest and takes place in Lafayette on July 11, 2026. The main race gathering and finish area are at Tapawingo Park, with the listed street address of 200 N 2nd St, Lafayette, IN 47901.

Packet pick-up options are provided before race day and on race day at Tapawingo Park. Pre-registration packet pick-up is scheduled at the John Dennis Wellness Center in West Lafayette. Day-of packet pick-up and day-of registration are available at Tapawingo Park.
Race logistics note that 5K participants check in at Tapawingo Park and are transported by bus to the start area on the Sagamore Trail. The 5K route follows the Sagamore Trail, descends to the Heritage Trail at the Sagamore Bridge, continues along the Wabash Heritage Trail with a stretch along Canal Street, re-joins the Heritage Trail, crosses the pedestrian bridge toward West Lafayette, and finishes underneath the pedestrian bridge at Tapawingo Park. The Kids Water Droplet Run begins underneath the pedestrian bridge at Tapawingo Park.
All proceeds will be donated to the Wabash River Enhancement Corporation to support Wabash Riverfest, environmental education, and conservation efforts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
