Run for Justice 5K in West Lafayette
Run for Justice is an annual community road race held in West Lafayette. The 2027 event is the 18th running and takes place on April 24, 2027, at the West Lafayette Wellness Center, 1101 Kalberer Rd. The main race is a certified and chip timed 5K course. All proceeds from the race support International Justice Mission, a nonprofit working to end modern slavery.
The event schedule includes a Kids Dash for children 10 and under on April 23 at Calvary Church, 310 Kalberer Rd. Packet pickup is available the evening before at Calvary Church, and online registration closes on April 21 with in person registration available on race day. Registrants who sign up by April 14 receive a free event shirt; extra shirts are available at check in while supplies last.
Organizers advise parking at Calvary Church or Cumberland Park Farmers Market lot to leave space for Wellness Center guests. Route maps are available on the registration site and at check in. There will be one water station on the route. Chip timed bibs must be visible when crossing the finish line. The race continues in light rain unless there is lightning or heavy rain that affects safety. Post race activities include snacks and an awards ceremony with age group prizes for male and female categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
