Wasatch Half Marathon and 10k
The Wasatch event features two primary distances for participants to choose from. Both races utilize the lower area of Soldier Hollow as the central hub for activity. The event provides a timed environment using chip technology attached to the race bibs to track performance.

The course begins and ends at the pavilion and parking area at the corner of Soldier Hollow Lane and Springtown Rd. The route includes notable landmarks such as the Deer Creek North Trailhead. Participants move through terrain that may be familiarized in advance through public access. Aid stations are positioned at the Deer Creek North Trailhead entrance, the 10k turnaround point, and the Half Marathon turnaround point.
Registrants receive a race t-shirt and a souvenir finisher medal upon completion. Post-race food and drinks are provided at the venue. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in 10-year age categories ranging from 14 and under to 90 and over.
The event occurs in September, where early morning temperatures typically range between 30 and 50 degrees. There are specific time limits for each distance, with a 4.5-hour limit for the Half Marathon and a 2.5-hour limit for the 10k.
