US Road Running - Highland
The US Road Running event in Highland, Utah, takes place at Highland Glen Park. This athletic gathering offers three distinct distances for participants to choose from:
- 5K - A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K - Two rotations of the 5K course.
- Half Marathon - Four rotations of a specific 3.28-mile out-and-back course.
The event structure is based on out-and-back routes. For the 5K and 10K, the course uses a 1.56-mile turnaround. The Half Marathon utilizes a 1.64-mile turnaround to reach the required distance. All participants must complete their respective courses within a 3 hour and 30 minute time limit.
Registration is conducted exclusively through the online portal, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event. Packet pickup is held at the race location, beginning 30 minutes prior to the start and concluding 10 minutes before the first runners depart.
Participants are encouraged to take part in the best costume competition, and all finishers receive a medal.
