Wasatch 100
The Wasatch Front 100 Miler is held in Utah the first Friday and Saturday after Labor Day each year. The point-to-point course runs from East Mountain Wilderness Park above Kaysville to the Pavilion at Soldier Hollow in Wasatch Mountain State Park in Midway. The route travels through the central Wasatch Mountains and covers a cumulative elevation gain of approximately 24,000 feet and a cumulative loss of approximately 23,300 feet.
The course heads south from East Mountain Wilderness Park to the mouth of Bair Canyon and climbs to the ridge above Francis Peak. It follows the Wasatch ridge past Farmington Flats, Arthur's Fork, Sessions Ridge and City Creek Pass to the Big Mountain Pass aid station. The route continues over Bald Mountain to the Lambs Canyon I-80 aid station, then proceeds up Lambs Canyon and through Mill Creek Canyon past Dog and Desolation Lakes to the Wasatch Crest trail and Brighton. From there it crosses Katherine and Sunset Passes, descends American Fork Canyon, and goes over Pole Line Pass and Baker Pass. The trail traverses Mill Creek Peak through the Glide and the Plunge to Pot Hollow, joins Cummings Parkway, runs above Heber Valley, crosses Cascade Springs Road, descends Decker Canyon to the Deer Creek Reservoir Trail, and finishes at Soldier Hollow.
