East Canyon Marathon
The East Canyon Marathon takes place on Saturday August 29, 2026 in Morgan, Utah. The event uses Morgan County Fairgrounds as the location for finish lines and for the shorter races. The venue address is 750 E Como Springs Road, Morgan, UT 84050.

The Full Marathon begins at Big Mountain Pass at the top of Emigration Canyon overlooking Salt Lake City and proceeds east. The route passes through stands of pine and aspen and follows several miles along East Canyon Reservoir. About three quarters of the way around the reservoir the Full joins the Half Marathon start route and then descends through Red Rock Canyon, which features distinct rock formations. Around mile 20 the course enters farmland with fields of grain and barns before reaching the finish area.
The 10K and 5K are out-and-back courses that start and finish at the Morgan County Fairgrounds. The event list includes invitation only pacer entries for both marathon and half marathon, plus a virtual race option. The race is noted as a Boston qualifier.
