East Canyon Marathon
The East Canyon Marathon takes place in Morgan, Utah on August 29, 2026. The event includes multiple race options and uses the Morgan County Fairgrounds as the common finish area.

The Full Marathon begins at Big Mountain Pass at the top of Emigration Canyon overlooking Salt Lake City and travels east. The course passes through stands of pine and aspen trees and follows several miles along the East Canyon Reservoir. The Full Marathon joins the Half Marathon about three quarters of the way around the reservoir; the Half Marathon then continues down Red Rock Canyon, which features distinct rock formations and varied landscapes. Around mile 20 the route transitions into farmland with fields of grain and barns. The 10K and 5K are out-and-back courses that start and finish at the Morgan County Fairgrounds, the common finish location for all distances.
