East Canyon Marathon
The East Canyon Marathon takes place on August 29, 2026, in Morgan, Utah. The event includes several distance options and finishes at the Morgan County Fairgrounds, located at 750 E Como Springs Road.

The Full Marathon begins overlooking Salt Lake City at Big Mountain Pass at the top of Emigration Canyon and proceeds east. The route passes through stands of pine and aspen and runs for several miles along East Canyon Reservoir. The Full Marathon joins the Half Marathon about three quarters of the way around the reservoir, where the Half Marathon begins its route and then descends through Red Rock Canyon, an area noted for rock formations and varied landscape. Around mile 20 the course moves into farmland with fields of grain and barns. The 10K and 5K are out and back courses that start and finish at the Morgan County Fairgrounds.
