Trick-or-Trail
Trick-or-Trail is a fall running event at the Warlick Family YMCA on the Sytz Family Trail System in Gastonia, NC. The event includes a trail race and a shorter fun run on trails that cover over 3 miles. The 1 mile Fun Run is noncompetitive and intended for enjoyment rather than racing.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026. Costumes are encouraged and participants may bring dogs. Registration by October 13 guarantees a race t-shirt. A $5 discount is available for the 5K using promo code TOT25; the code is not valid for the Fun Run, is limited to one use per registrant, and cannot be combined with other offers or applied to prior registrations.
A Trick-or-Trail Party Zone will run during the event and is free and open to all. The Party Zone includes bounce houses, games, music, a mascot race, and other family activities suitable for a range of ages. The party area is presented separately from the timed race components.
