About the race
Santa Run 8K/5K & Snowman Dash is a family-friendly running event in Charlotte, North Carolina, held in Uptown near Truist Ballpark (324 S Mint St). The weekend features three in-person races—Santa Run 8K, Santa Run 5K, and the Snowman Dash 1-mile—plus a Virtual 8K or 5K option. Participants are encouraged to dress in costumes (Santa, elf, reindeer, or snowman) and choose a character shirt; hats are provided for the 8K/5K.
Finisher medals are awarded for the 8K/5K, while Snowman Dash has a shirt but no medal. Extras include a costume contest, timing, awards, hot cocoa, a DJ, and a post-race expo. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
