Event overview
The Santa Run 8K/5K & Snowman Dash is scheduled for December 19, 2026 in Uptown Charlotte, at 324 S. Mint St, in front of Truist Ballpark. The event is presented by Taylor Clay Products and is the 10th annual edition. Participants select a character shirt when they register; character options include Santa, Elf, Reindeer, and Snowman.

Logistics and race services
Packet pick up is available Friday, December 18 (10:30 AM - 6:00 PM) at Run For Your Life - Midtown, 901 S. Kings Drive, #100, and on race day at 324 S. Mint St (7:45 AM - 8:45 AM). Virtual runners receive a mailed shirt and bib and may submit their time online. Timing for the 8K and 5K is provided by Chronotrack with disposable timing tags; Snowman Dash finishers can view the finish clock. Finisher medals are guaranteed for the 8K and 5K only; the Snowman Dash does not have medals. Hats or beanies are provided for 8K and 5K registrants who register before December 1, subject to inventory.
Rules, awards, and policies
Divisions include overall, masters, and age groups from 12 and under through 70 and over. Awards go to the top three male and female overall and first place in age groups. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Walkers are allowed only in the Snowman Dash. A medical tent will be located at the finish line. Races are held rain or shine unless organizers or local authorities determine conditions are unsafe; in that case there are no refunds.
