Walla Walla Point .5K
The Walla Walla Sunrise Rotary Point .5K is a short distance running event held in Walla Walla, Washington. The course covers a distance of 0.5 km, which is equivalent to approximately 546.8 yards or 0.31 miles. The route consists of pancake-flat paved road surfaces, providing a level terrain for all participants.
The event takes place at Heritage Square Park, located at 116 E Main Street. This gathering is organized by the Walla Walla Sunrise Rotary and serves as a fundraising effort for local organizations. All proceeds from the registration fees and associated activities benefit the Walla Walla Community Hospice, Camp Amanda, and various Walla Walla Sunrise Rotary programs.
Participants are encouraged to take part in teams and wear costumes during the event. The program includes on-site registration, raffle ticket sales, and a photo booth. Following the completion of the 500 meter course, there is a scheduled period for participants to celebrate their finish.
