Location, distribution and rules
Place: Cape Coral Animal Shelter, 325 SW 2nd Avenue, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Participant shirts and bibs are distributed the day before at the shelter and at an event day check-in. There is a no-shirt guarantee after March 6, 2026 at 12:00 noon. Rules: standard leashes only, no retractable leashes, and pronged or choke chain collars are not permitted.
Awards
Human runner awards include overall male/female and age-group medals by chip time for multiple age brackets. Furry Friend Team Runners receive 1st-3rd place medals and pet baskets; 4th-6th receive honorable mention. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
