The Walk, Wiggle, Wag & 5K Run takes place on March 21, 2026 at the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, 325 SW 2nd Avenue, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Awards and rules
Overall awards for the 5K are based on gun time for male and female overalls. Additional awards use chip time for masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters, and age-group placements from 10 & under through 75 & up. Furry Friend team runners receive 1st-3rd place medals and pet baskets, with honorable mentions for 4th-6th. The event is pet friendly; dogs are allowed with standard leashes only.
