Gateway Jingle Jog 5K : Overview
The Gateway Jingle Jog 5K is a community road race on Saturday, December 6, 2025, hosted at Gateway Church in Fort Myers, Florida (13241 Griffin Drive). The event uses a certified 5K course through the Gateway community and is presented by Gateway Church and Gateway Services CDD Parks & Recreation. The event is in its second year and has a maximum of 1,000 registrations: 200 spots for an Elite Heat (reserved for runners who commit to a sub-25 minute 5K) and 800 spots for community racers. The Elite Heat requires entrants to declare a sub-25 minute finish time and confirm their entry with race staff; failure to meet the time may result in disqualification. The event includes placement awards by age group and raffle prizes from local businesses.
Logistics, timing, and fees
Race timing is provided by a professional timing company; participants receive live results, an individual results page with pace breakdown, a finisher certificate, and a short finish-line video. Registrations include a custom finisher medal and a T-shirt. Posted registration fees are: Kids & Teens $39.44, Adult $50.14, and Elite Heat $50.14. Packet pickup is available on multiple days before race day and at the race venue on race morning. Off-site parking is provided at Gateway Elementary and the Gateway Soccer Field parking lots across the street from the church.
