Gateway Jingle Jog
The Gateway Jingle Jog is the 3rd annual community 5K held in Fort Myers at 13241 Griffin Drive. The event is hosted by Gateway Church and Gateway Services CDD Parks & Recreation and features a certified 5K course that runs along the winding bike path through Linear Park, between Griffin Drive and Gateway Lakes Blvd, in a scenic car free setting.
The event welcomes participants of all ages. Strollers are permitted and costumes are encouraged. Organizers have limited registration to 450 spots for this year; nearly 700 runners took part last year. Registration opens on August 15, 2026 at 19:00 and closes on October 31, 2026 at 23:59, with a registration fee of $35.00.
The Gateway Jingle Jog supports the Gateway Community Fund. Past community support from the fund includes providing meals for local teachers, a $2,500 gift to a family after a loss, support for Gateway Soccer league activities, and a Fall Festival that brought nearly 2,000 community members together.
