Walk for Paws: 5K and 1 Mile Walk
This event takes place on May 30, 2026 at Harrisburg Area Community College, 1 HACC Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17110. It is organized by the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area and includes multiple participation options.
The main event is a 5K color run that brings together adults, children, and dogs. A separate 1 mile walk is also offered. Distances available:

Awards are given as trophies for the top two finishers in each age group, divided into 18 and over and 17 and under. Timing is provided by Bryn Mawr Racing Co., and official results are published by the timing company.
Registered participants receive an event t-shirt. The event area includes vendors, food trucks, adoptable dogs, and a kid fun zone. Registration is handled through the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area with registration available through May 29 at 12:30 pm.
