Event overview
The Last Mile is a five-mile road race hosted by Perry County Road Runners in Duncannon, Pennsylvania (101 Cumberland St, Duncannon, PA 17020). The course starts at the Duncannon Fire Hall at Cumberland and High Street, goes through the hillside outside town, and finishes near the Fire Hall. The race is scheduled for late December 2025; online registration for the listed event closes on December 24, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST. A course map is available on Strava.
Entry and race logistics
Pre-registration fees are $25 without a long sleeve shirt or $40 with a shirt while supplies last. Perry County schools cross country or track runners may register for $15 without a shirt. Active military may register free or pay $15 with a shirt; military entrants may need to submit a paper form or register on race day. Late registration increases to $30 without a shirt or $45 with a shirt while supplies last. Race day registration accepts cash or check only; the registration table opens around 8:30. Packets are assembled the Thursday or Friday before the race, and there is no advanced packet pickup.
Community support
Proceeds support the Duncannon Fire Company and scholarship awards to one male and one female runner at each Perry County school cross country and track program; scholarship recipients are selected by coaches. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
