Walk for Hope: 5K Suicide Prevention Awareness Month Run
The Promise of Faith is organizing an inaugural community 5K run/walk focused on suicide prevention awareness, remembrance, and mental health advocacy. The event takes place on September 12, 2026, at 190 North Arrowhead Avenue, Suite C, Rialto, CA 92376.
The program includes a check in period, the run/walk itself, and a Ceremony of Hope that offers a moment of remembrance and support for people affected by suicide. First, second, and third place finishers will receive medals. The event provides free parking and is open to all ages.
Registration is required. All proceeds support The Promise of Faith’s mental health awareness initiatives, community outreach programs, and educational workshops. Organizers are seeking vendors, community organizations, mental health professionals, sponsors, and resource partners to provide information and services at the event.
The event policy allows refunds up to seven days before the event. The format is in person and designed to provide a space for reflection, connection, and resource sharing while encouraging conversations about mental health and suicide prevention.
