Wales Ultra Trail Coastal Rush 50km 2026
The Wales Ultra Trail Coastal Rush is a coastal trail event based at Glan Y Don Beach, Pwllheli, that runs along the southern coast of the Llŷn Peninsula and finishes at Tŷ Newydd Campsite. The route passes beaches, trails, woodlands and open fields.
The event is presented as a 50 km race; route statistics list a distance of 52 km. Route data also show total ascent of 1009 m and total descent of 933 m, with a highest point of 173 m and a lowest point at sea level. The course includes roughly 20.4 km of uphill, 20.3 km of downhill and about 11.1 km of flat terrain.
Included with entry are an event T-shirt at registration and a finisher’s medal at the finish line. The organiser provides a free coach from Tŷ Newydd Campsite to the start, on-course photography, finish line celebrations and experienced local event team support with medic cover. Entry fee is listed at £79. Camping is available at Tŷ Newydd Campsite; campers must contact the campsite directly to book.
