Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Half Marathon 2027
The Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Half Marathon takes place on 28 February 2027 and is organised by Black Sheep Events. The point to point Half Marathon starts at Cwt Tatws in Tudweiliog and finishes in the seaside village of Aberdaron. The route crosses the Llŷn Peninsula and follows coastal paths, ancient pilgrim routes and quiet country lanes.
Entry includes professional chip timing, a fully marked course, an event finisher medal, fully stocked aid stations and professional medical cover. Entry categories and fees are published with tiered pricing: the Original Black Sheep price for the first 100 entries is £29.95; Early Bird is £34.95 until 30 September 2026; Standard Entry is £39.95 from 1 October 2026 to 31 January 2027; Late Entry is £44.95 from 1 February 2027 until sold out. An optional coach transfer from the finish to the start is offered for £15 and an official technical event T shirt is available for £15.
The event is the opening race in the Black Sheep Triple Crown; completing all three events awards an additional Triple Crown medal. Participants aged 17 to 89 on the event date are listed as eligible. The organiser states there are no cut offs and participants may run, jog or walk the course.
