Wakefield Hospice 5K 2027
The Wakefield Hospice 5K takes place in Wakefield, West Yorkshire on Sunday 14 March 2027. The event is organised by Wakefield Hospice to raise funds for patient care and uses a shortened out-and-back road route covering 5 Kilometres. The course is described as flat, consists of a single lap, and is suitable for wheelchair users.
Race HQ is at Thornes Park, Horbury Road, Wakefield WF2 8TY. Facilities on the day include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities, baggage storage, medical services, physio, food and drink, event commentary and a property tent. Finishers receive a commemorative Wakefield Hospice t-shirt. Professional photographers will be present and photographs may be used for event publicity.
Entry is limited to 225 places; a number of places remained available at the time this information was published. Early bird entry fees are listed as £16.00 for affiliated runners and £18.00 for unaffiliated runners. Entry on the day is not available. A race licence is noted as to be applied for.
Refunds are available up to 28 days before the event; transfers to another runner are permitted up to three weeks before the event.
