Wakefield Hospice 5K 2027
The Wakefield Hospice 5K takes place on Sunday 14 March 2027 in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The event is organised by Wakefield Hospice to raise funds for patient care.
The course is a single lap, flat, road route of 5 kilometres on an out and back layout. The event is suitable for wheelchairs and has a race entry limit of 225 places. The minimum age for entry is 11.
Facilities at the race include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities and baggage storage. There are no showers on site. Race headquarters are at Thornes Park, Horbury Road, Wakefield WF2 8TY. Parking is available at several nearby venues on the day.
Entry fees are listed at £16.00 to £18.00 depending on affiliation and timing. Refunds are available up to 28 days before the event; entries can be transferred to another runner up to three weeks before the event. If the event is cancelled and no alternative date is arranged, entry fees will be donated to Wakefield Hospice.
All entrants confirm they are fit to participate and must disclose medical conditions for inclusion on the race number and sharing with medical services on the day.
