Wakefield Hospice 5K
The Wakefield Hospice 5K takes place on Sunday 14 March 2027 in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The event is a 5 kilometre road race on a flat out-and-back course completed in a single lap. The event is organised by Wakefield Hospice to raise funds for patient care.
Entries are limited to 225 places with 190 remaining at the time of listing. The minimum age for entry is 11. The race is listed as suitable for wheelchairs and a race licence is to be applied for. Entry on the day is not available.
Entry fees are shown as early bird rates of £16 for affiliated runners and £18 for unaffiliated runners. Refunds are available up to 28 days before the event; places may be transferred to another runner up to three weeks before the event. If the event is cancelled and no suitable alternative date is arranged, entry fees will be donated to Wakefield Hospice.
Race headquarters are at Thornes Park, Horbury Road, Wakefield WF2 8TY. On the day facilities include water, distance markers, toilets, changing and baggage storage. There are no showers. Additional on site services listed include food and drink, physio, commentary, a property tent, medical services and a finisher t shirt.
