Priory 5K/2K 2026 : Nostell Priory, Wakefield
The Priory 5K/2K takes place on Wednesday 15 July 2026 within the grounds of Nostell Priory. The event is organised by Ackworth Road Runners and is offered as a shorter-distance option alongside the annual Priory 10km event.
The course is multi terrain and run as a single lap. Distances offered:
- 2 kilometres
- 5 kilometres
Entry is limited to 100 places; at the time of listing 69 places remained. The race licence is pending. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Facilities at Race HQ, The Stable Block, Nostell Priory and Parkland, include water, distance markers, toilets and baggage storage. There are no changing facilities and no showers. Free parking is available onsite and the stable yard cafe offers food and drinks.
Entry fees include race fees and admin charges: unaffiliated 5km £12.00, affiliated 5km £10.00, 2km £8.00. If the event does not sell out, entry on the day is available at no additional cost. All finishers receive a custom memento. Children aged 7 and under must run with an accompanying adult who must not cross the finish line. Children on the 2km may be accompanied free but mementos are awarded only to registered, numbered runners. Runners aged 11 or over may enter the 5km accompanied or unaccompanied, but all 5km runners must be registered and display a race number.
